We play for as long as you and your guests can dance. Usually 2 x 60 minute sets and up to 75 minutes per set. It’s not something you’d do every day and most people aren’t used to this kind of exercise. A good caller will recognise when dancers need a rest and should act accordingly. However, it’s your day and we will be guided by you.

We use exciting and lively music in a traditional style to fit the dances (tunes we play include The Sloe, Three Around Three, Harper’s Frolic, Bonnie Kate).

The band will arrive at least one hour before the agreed start time. Usually earlier to allow for heavy traffic.

The band will be prepared for the event (e.g. wedding) to run late.

Whatever the case the band will be set up and ready to start at the agreed time and will be pleased wait until they are required to start.
